2012
How we met
We met in a tiny village in the mountains, and though the place was beautiful, no romantic intention ever occurred
2024
It took a wedding and few broken foots
It was during a trip that did not turn out as planned that we discovered truly who the other one was. To our surprise our 30s selves got much more along than our 20s versions.
2024
2 cities and a lot of scheduling
From that moment onwards, we fully committed to explore where this relationship would take us. A lot of travels , a discount travel train card between Amsterdam and Frankfurt
2025
Frankfurt move
After a year of back and forth between frankfurt and Amsterdam and then Frankfurt and Paris, it was time for Isaline to join Konrad in Frankfurt, what was supposed to be a short stop over turned into a full year of memories in the German Mainhattan .
2026
The proposal
It was during the yearly family Sterkel's ski holidays in Montafont, Austria, that by a small waterfall where just the two of us where present, konrad asked if we would spend the rest of our life together. It was the first time that Isaline made up her mind so fast
2026
A civil wedding & a move to a new continent
Following our civil wedding in Kronberg am Tanus on the 5th of June 2026, we moved to Doha, Qatar to start our new family life together in the heat.
